The low profile rear deck on the 520HV make is less susceptable to lateral wind and weather-cocking. The low back also provides good freedom of movement when rolling.

Characteristic lines on the hull, derived from the Prijon Tri-hedral hull design provide the 520HV with a tracking qualities as well as excellent agility when edging. The concave sections on the hull provide relaible secondary stability without compromise to level paddling straight line speed.
